We are thrilled to extend an invitation to audition for the upcoming MainStage productions at the Redding Performing Arts Center. As we gear up for our exciting 2025 Season, we are seeking talented individuals who can bring life and depth to our upcoming productions. We are currently seeking individuals for the following shows:
The Prince of Egypt – Musical

Sweeney Todd – Musical

Amahl and the Night Visitors – Opera

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU -Headshot
-Actor’s Resume
-Sheet music for accompaniment or Phone/iPad with track ready to play.
WHAT TO EXPECT Please arrive 10 mins before your audition slot to get settled in and prepared for your audition. When you arrive you can wait patiently in the Lobby or use one of the studios in our education wing to warm up. Please have sheet music or your track on a bluetooth enabled device ready to go. We will have a bluetooth speaker for you to connect to.
HOW TO SIGN UP Use the link above to fill out a form and sign up for a 5 minute audition slot. Please choose an available slot that doesn’t have another individual already listed in the same time bracket. Please select whether you will be using bluetooth connection or using the pianist provided by RPAC. If you are using our accompanist, please provide clearly marked and easy to read sheet music with you. If you would like the accompanist to have the music in advance please email a PDF copy to: brandon@reddingpac.com
HOW TO PREPARE
For The Prince of Egypt and Sweeney Todd auditions:
– Please select one of the provided song excerpts from the Audition Packet that best matches your desired role or vocal range. If your preferred role is not listed, choose a song that aligns with your voice. Click HERE for the Audition Packet.
– Prepare a one-minute monologue that highlights your versatility and range as an actor.
*If you are auditioning for both musicals, you only need to prepare one song from either show – not a song from both.
For Amahl and the Night Visitors auditions:
– Prepare an art song or aria in Menotti’s style
